Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Owen Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose comes to the cage accompanied by Breaking Benjamin - Bulls On Parade. Owen Rose has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Owen Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffrey Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Rose finds it's target.
Chambers shoots and misses
and Rose counters with a stiff right hand.
Chambers with a poor takedown
and Rose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rose throws a hook to the side of Chambers's head but Chambers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chambers.
Owen Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Chambers.
Chambers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rose avoids it really well and circles away.

Rose connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chambers's hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rose darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chambers dives in and grabs Rose's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rose pushes down on Chambers's head and hops out.

and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rose cracks Chambers with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Chambers falls to his knees and Rose doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Owen Rose!
After the fight, Owen Rose was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
