Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Magnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monsoon has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Martin Magnus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monsoon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Monsoon wants to free his trapped foot but Magnus is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Monsoon is breathing heavily.
Magnus wants to control but Monsoon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Monsoon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Monsoon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Monsoon stops Magnus from getting back to his feet.
Monsoon is looking to advance position but Magnus won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Monsoon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Magnus swivels and escapes.
Nice sprawl there from Magnus as Monsoon shoots in.
Magnus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Monsoon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Monsoon with that takedown attempt.

Monsoon shoots for a takedown but Magnus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Monsoon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnus's waist but Magnus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Monsoon off to one side.
Monsoon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Magnus throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Monsoon stumbling backwards into the cage! Monsoon bounces back off the cage towards Magnus, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Magnus lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Magnus celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Martin Magnus!
