Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Uy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Uy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bleed It Out. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chung's choice of entrance music: Everybody Have Fun Tonight. Wang Chung has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Uy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wang Chung! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chung on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Uy lands a jab-cross combination. Chung shoots in but Uy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Uy clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uy is looking to break free of the clinch but Chung has double underhooks. Chung wants to take the fight to the mat but Uy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Uy is looking to break free of the clinch but Chung has double underhooks. Uy swings wildly with an uppercut but Chung uses good head movement to avoid it. Chung has hold of one of Uy's legs. Uy is fighting the takedown attempt but Chung gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Uy is trying to control the position but Chung postures up. Uy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chung is one step ahead there. Chung pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Uy is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chung works a leg free and moves into half guard. Uy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chung is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Chung is looking to advance position but Uy won't allow it. Chung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Uy keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chung wants to pass the guard but Uy is defending well. Chung is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Uy reverses the position - he's now on top in Chung's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chung looking to hit a scissor sweep but Uy is one step ahead there. Chung is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chung had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Uy defends it easily. Chung bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Uy's guard. Chung passes into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Chung passes to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uy is looking to reverse the position. Uy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chung on the ground. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Uy gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Chung takes Uy's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Uy is in trouble. Chung is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Uy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Chung has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Uy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Chung doesn't care though - he's delighted!
