The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones throws a combination. Rutger tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Gerlach Rutger has been cut.
Rutger misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A big left from Jones misses.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a right and a left that Rutger avoids nicely.
Rutger walks into a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jones drops Rutger with a beautiful combination! Rutger stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!
Rutger is rocked!
Jones lands a big right hand that sends Rutger crashing to the mat! Jones stays standing though and waves Rutger back to his feet!
Rutger is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones drops Rutger with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jones follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bones Jones!
Our winner, Bones Jones, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
