Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Takedown.
Takedown walks into a jab.
Jenkins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Takedown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jenkins.
Takedown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jenkins circles away quickly and effectively.
Takedown looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jenkins digs a good hook to Takedown's body.
Jenkins throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Takedown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jenkins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takedown scrambles back to his feet.
Takedown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bubba Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lord Takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takedown throws an off balance right hand
and Takedown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jenkins gets caught flat footed, as Takedown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jenkins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Takedown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takedown is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenkins has wrist control.
Takedown stays in close to Jenkins's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bubba Jenkins wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Takedown gets a double leg takedown into Jenkins's guard.
Jenkins is looking to stand up but Takedown isn't so interested in that idea.
Takedown throws a big elbow that misses.
Jenkins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jenkins tries to get out of the position.

Takedown slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bubba Jenkins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Takedown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins avoids it really well and circles away.
Jenkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jenkins getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Takedown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jenkins is fending him off so far but Takedown persists. Nope, Jenkins circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Takedown misses with an uppercut
enabling Jenkins to counter with a crisp jab.
Takedown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Takedown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jenkins's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jenkins duly obliges.
Jenkins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jenkins connects with a looping right hand.
Jenkins looks to land a combination. Takedown sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Takedown shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jenkins is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Jenkins is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Takedown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A slow jab from Jenkins misses its intended target.
Lord Takedown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takedown staying out of range there.
Takedown looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jenkins lands a right hand from hell, dropping Takedown. Jenkins pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
