Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Guillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bocek has chosen Kashmir - Led Zeppelin as his entrance music. Bruce Bocek is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kelvin Guillet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Bocek! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bocek stuffs the takedown. Bocek stuffs the takedown. Guillet rushes Bocek and presses him up against the cage. Guillet tries to score a body lock takedown but Bocek shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelvin Guillet. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guillet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bocek has him pressed against the cage. Guillet has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bocek uses from the top position. Bocek controlling from the top position. Bocek trying to control the position from guard on top but Guillet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bocek looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruce Bocek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Guillet shoots in and drives through. Bocek sprawls well. Guillet tries for a takedown but Bocek sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bocek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guillet tries to avoid it but Bocek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guillet to the ground. Guillet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bocek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bocek wants it to stay on the feet. Guillet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bocek tries to clinch but Guillet moves out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Guillet checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Guillet looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bocek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guillet swivels and escapes. Guillet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bocek tries to avoid it but Guillet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bocek to the ground. Bocek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Guillet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guillet wants it to stay on the feet. Bocek stuffs the takedown. Guillet is breathing heavily. Bocek shoots in but Guillet avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bocek drives through with a takedown into Guillet's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bocek is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action!
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Bocek might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bruce Bocek was stalling too much, according to the referee. Guillet misses with a low kick.
Guillet shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bocek but Bocek pushes him off and we're back to square one. Guillet with a poor takedown and Bocek counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bocek. Bocek has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Guillet avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bocek is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Guillet gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Guillet manages to break the clinch.
Bocek fails with a takedown attempt. Guillet drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bocek keeping moving, preventing Guillet from controlling successfully. Guillet is posturing up here but Bocek has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Guillet tries to roll out but it's too tight and Guillet has to tap! Slick submission there by Bocek!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bruce Bocek! A very excited looking Bruce Bocek made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
