Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Antero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giacomo Kulisic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kauko Antero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Giacomo Kulisic! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antero closes the distance but Kulisic moves to the side and Kulisic counters with a takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Antero takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The referee asks Kulisic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kulisic prefers to stall for the moment though. Kulisic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kulisic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antero is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kulisic connects with a decent elbow. Kulisic connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Antero some visible discomfort.
Kulisic decides to stand back up. Antero tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kulisic counters with a body kick that stops Antero in his tracks momentarily. Antero gets tackled into the cage by Kulisic. Kulisic maintains the clinch. Kulisic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kulisic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Antero manages to avoid it. Kulisic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Antero did well to prevent Kulisic getting side control. Antero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kulisic is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kulisic decides to return to a standing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antero tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kulisic counters with a good low kick that Antero was not able to check. Antero is looking to clinch but Kulisic is avoiding it.
Kulisic looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Antero! Kulisic prevents Antero from escaping the position. Kulisic controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Kulisic might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Giacomo Kulisic. Kulisic gets a takedown into half guard. Kulisic lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kulisic is working for a kimura but Antero is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulisic looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kulisic missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kulisic sitting and controlling from the half guard. Antero taking some punishment here, with Kulisic in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giacomo Kulisic dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Antero tries to clinch but Kulisic moves out of range. Antero tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kulisic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kulisic shoots in and gets a takedown into Antero's guard. Kulisic not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Let's hope that Kulisic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kulisic works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kulisic not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kulisic trying to control the pace. Antero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Giacomo Kulisic wasn't active enough on the ground. A combination from Antero does no damage. Kauko Antero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kulisic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Antero to the ground. Kulisic is now in Antero's guard. Antero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kulisic on the ground. Kulisic gets to his feet. Antero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kulisic keeps the fight on the outside. Kulisic moves into range and clinches up with Antero. Kulisic goes for a takedown attempt but Antero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kulisic tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kulisic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kulisic working Antero over with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kulisic seems to be working for a kimura but Antero defends the submission attempt. Antero is trying to stand back up but Kulisic is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kulisic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Antero is looking to escape. Kulisic sitting and controlling from the half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Giacomo Kulisic has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Antero closes the distance looking to clinch and Kulisic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kulisic. Antero is trying to push Kulisic away but Kulisic has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Antero wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulisic landing knees to the body.
Antero tries to break free but Kulisic pushes him back against the cage. Kulisic jumps guard and drags Antero to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kulisic looking for a guillotine here but Antero defends easily.
Antero has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kulisic pushes Antero off and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kulisic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giacomo Kulisic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Kauko Antero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Antero darts in trying to clinch and Kulisic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Antero's guard. Antero working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kulisic. Kulisic is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Antero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kulisic is controlling him. Kulisic passes Antero's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kulisic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Antero is just riding it out for now. Kulisic eventually gives up the hold. Kulisic not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kulisic has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kulisic stalling. Kulisic is looking for a kimura here.
Kulisic stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Antero to get to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Antero slaps away a takedown attempt from Kulisic, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kulisic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Antero is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kulisic breaks the clinch.
Kulisic looks to land a combination but Antero avoids it well. Antero looks to clinch and Kulisic counters with a slapping leg kick. Antero wants to clinch but Kulisic slips to the side and Kulisic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kulisic. Kulisic scores with an uppercut up the middle. Antero throws a punch but it's blocked by Kulisic.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antero looking for a takedown. Antero lands an uppercut. Still in the clinch, Antero scores with a nice short uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Antero. Kulisic changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Antero fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Antero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kulisic's waist but Kulisic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Antero off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Antero is defended easily by Kulisic. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kauko Antero. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Kulisic. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Antero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kulisic swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kauko Antero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Giacomo Kulisic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kulisic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kulisic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Antero throws out the jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Giacomo Kulisic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kulisic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
