Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tod Brookes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tod Brookes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drizzt Do Urden! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do Urden tries to close the distance and clinch but Brookes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brookes tries to clinch but Do Urden moves out of range. Do Urden shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Do Urden tries to clinch but Brookes moves out of range. Brookes fails in his attempt to clinch. Brookes tries to clinch but Do Urden moves out of range. Brookes keeps the fight on the outside. Brookes tries to clinch up. Brookes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Do Urden tries to clinch but fails miserably and Brookes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Do Urden's guard. Brookes wants to get up but he can't break Do Urden's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Brookes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tod Brookes. Do Urden is looking to clinch. Do Urden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brookes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Drizzt Do Urden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brookes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brookes swats away the attempt to clinch by Do Urden. Do Urden throws a nice inside leg kick. Brookes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brookes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brookes tries to clinch but Do Urden is having none of it. Do Urden moves in looking to clinch but Brookes pushes him off. Do Urden tries to close the distance and clinch but Brookes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Do Urden with a body punch. A glancing blow. Brookes feints and as Do Urden raises his hands in defense, Brookes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Brookes stopping the sweep attempt from Do Urden. Do Urden is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Do Urden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brookes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Do Urden is tightening it up a little... Brookes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Brookes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brookes taps out! Nice BJJ there by Do Urden!
