Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paco Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. kill the king by Megadeth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paco Mendoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rick Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mendoza cracks Sanchez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mendoza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sanchez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mendoza throws a right hand that Sanchez ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanchez also avoids with ease.
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mendoza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it.
Sanchez darts in trying to clinch
and Mendoza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mendoza jabs at Sanchez's body.
Mendoza takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Mendoza thows a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanchez. Mendoza does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mendoza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanchez.
Sanchez closes the distance but Mendoza moves to the side
and Mendoza counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mendoza scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mendoza.
Mendoza moves out of range of the body kick.
Mendoza slips a straight right by Sanchez.
Mendoza is looking to wear down Sanchez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Mendoza, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Mendoza against the cage but Mendoza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mendoza pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sanchez back to the cage. Mendoza follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mendoza moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sanchez is rocked!
Sanchez dodges the punch combination from Mendoza.
Mendoza throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range.
A left and a right from Mendoza both land. Nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mendoza stuffs the takedown.
Paco Mendoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Sanchez.
Sanchez looks winded!
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.

Mendoza throws out a powerful jab.
Sanchez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Mendoza finish him?
Paco Mendoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mendoza lands with a shot to the body.
Sanchez seems to have recovered his senses.
Mendoza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively.
Mendoza throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sanchez on the side of the head.
Paco Mendoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez darts in trying to clinch
and Mendoza comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Sanchez stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Mendoza is on him like rabid pit bull! Sanchez slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paco Mendoza!
