Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Swarner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Minden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swarner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Friends in Low Places . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Swarner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Minden! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Swarner. That's going to slow Minden down. A jab from Minden finds it's way through Swarner's defenses. Minden thows a left - swing and a miss! Minden throws a hook but Swarner avoids it easily. Minden misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Minden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Minden fails to land with a series of punches.
Swarner is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Minden misses with a wild combination.

Minden sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Minden lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Swarner throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Minden looks winded! Minden throws a nice looking combination but Swarner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Minden slips a jab and a cross from Swarner.

Minden throws a right hand that Swarner ducks under and follows up with a left that Swarner also avoids with ease. Swarner throws a right hand that Minden ducks under and follows up with a left that Minden also avoids with ease. Minden works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swarner connects with a high kick.
It looks like Ray Minden has been cut. Swarner feints a jab promting Minden to slip. Swarner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Minden slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Minden drops his hands for a split second and Swarner immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Minden face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Swarner follows up with a right hand that knocks Minden into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
