Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Montgomery Nagendra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoover comes to the cage accompanied by Ecstasy of Gold. Nagendra has chosen Mozart - Lacrimosa as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edgar Hoover! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Montgomery Nagendra! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoover gets the takedown into side control. Hoover in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Hoover working away. Hoover working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nagendra tries to bench press Hoover off him but Hoover keeps the position. Hoover cracks Nagendra with a big elbow. Hoover fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hoover is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nagendra has escaped the position, nice work there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoover scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nagendra to see if he's OK. Hoover works to advance to full mount. Nagendra defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Nagendra is in a horrible position here. Hoover smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hoover landing punches.
It looks like Montgomery Nagendra has been cut. Nagendra is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoover lands a big shot there that rocks Nagendra but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Nagendra is bucking up trying to escape but Hoover cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hoover is landing with some decent strikes but Nagendra is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. BOOM! Hoover connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nagendra is rocked!
The cut above Montgomery Nagendra's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hoover thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Nagendra tries to hold on but Hoover pushes him away. Hoover postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Nagendra badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hoover around the waist but Hoover pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hoover is the winner by TKO! Hoover jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edgar Hoover! Edgar Hoover retains his light heavyweight title! A very excited looking Edgar Hoover rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
