Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Bones!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdoch tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bones stuffs the takedown.
Murdoch closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Jesse Murdoch has been cut.
Murdoch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Murdoch fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bones to the ground. Murdoch is now in Bones's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bones pulls Murdoch in to control the position.
Murdoch has gone for a leg lock! Bones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Murdoch's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murdoch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bones is holding on to half guard well.

Murdoch is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Murdoch prevents Bones from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murdoch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murdoch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Murdoch is working for a guillotine from mount but Bones frees his head quite easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Murdoch there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Murdoch jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bones is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bones and Murdoch has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Murdoch is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bones has escaped the position, nice work there.

Murdoch prevents Bones from escaping the position.
Bones is trying to get back to half guard.

Bones manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Murdoch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bones sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Murdoch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bones defends it well.
