The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Klutie. No joy for Williams on that attempt.
George Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klutie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Klutie is tying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.
Still in half guard, Klutie seems content to control.
Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Klutie seems to be looking for submissions.
Klutie is tying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Klutie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Williams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klutie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Klutie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Williams manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Klutie has Williams in his guard.
