Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
A low kick from Winter is predictable there
and Johnson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Winter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Winter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Johnson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Winter tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Johnson is able to avoid easily.

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Winter's temple.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is keen to just control but Winter is a slippery customer.

Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Winter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Winter is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Winter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Johnson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Jack Winter has been cut.

Oh Winter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Winter in real trouble here! The ref calls for Winter to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Jeremy Johnson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
