Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pe Nich!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nich closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nich just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Nich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The strikes coming from Nich are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nich has eaten all the pies!
Laranja tries to improve position but can't.
Nich tries for a kimura but Laranja is defending well.
Laranja is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nich has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Laranja managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Nich.
Nich is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Laranja is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nich is working to tighten is grip on Laranja's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Laranja has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nich is really squeezing tight and eventually Laranja passes out! Nich breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
