Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daron Oktan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kal El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying El's choice of entrance music: Mein Herz Brennt. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daron Oktan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kal El! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oktan with a lazy takedown attempt and El connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. El jabs Oktan right on the nose. Oktan blinks but takes it well. No luck for Oktan with that takedown attempt. Oktan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daron Oktan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oktan shoots and misses and El counters with a straight right hand. Oktan tries for a takedown but El sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. El closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Come on El - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's one minute gone in the round. El is defending well against a takedown attempt. El wants to get back to striking at distance but Oktan won't allow it.
Oktan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by El after a bit of a struggle. Oktan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. El is trying to push Oktan away but Oktan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Oktan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Oktan jumps guard but El turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Oktan wants to take the fight to the mat but El manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. El breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. El moves into the clinch. El working hard to break the clinch. El is looking to break free of the clinch but Oktan has double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oktan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite El's efforts to push away. Oktan is looking for a takedown. El has had enough of the clinch but Oktan keeps him there for the moment. El escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
El moves into the clinch. Oktan looking for a takedown. Oktan prevents El from breaking the clinch. El tries to circle away but Oktan has him pinned against the cage. El escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oktan walks forward, straight into a front kick from El. El scores with a jab. Nice takedown defense from Oktan. No joy for El on that attempt. El rushes Oktan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. El digs a right hand into Oktan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Oktan's gas tank. Oktan wants a takedown.
El wants to break the clinch but can't.
El escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
El misses with a low kick.
El throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Oktan fails with the takedown. Oktan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oktan tries to keep at a distance but El has taken the fight into the clinch. A hook to the body from El.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A right hook to the body lands for El.
El is working for takedown but Oktan is calmly controlling the position for now. Oktan is pressed up against the cage. El has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Oktan down to the mat. Oktan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. El gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Oktan managing to block the knees to the body from El.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oktan drops down looking for an ankle pick but El pulls his leg out and moves away.
El forces Oktan back against the cage and clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. El lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. El is leaning against Oktan and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kal El dominated that round. That's time! Oktan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Oktan shoots in looking for a takedown but El manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oktan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Oktan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. El tries to avoid it but Oktan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag El to the ground. El escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oktan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daron Oktan. That's going to take a lot out of him. El has Oktan up against the cage in a clinch.

El managing to control the position. El wants to sweep but no luck. Oktan got a little sloppy there for a moment and El has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oktan has managed to get both his arms back between El's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. El wants to sweep here but Oktan controlling him for the moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Oktan wants to control from the top but El keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. El trying to control the position here. El tries to land a sweep but no joy. El looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oktan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. El keeping moving, preventing Oktan from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oktan has gone for a leg lock! El slips out almost immediately though and dives into Oktan's guard. El lands a couple of digs. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as El accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. El won't allow Oktan to sweep him here. El postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. El thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Oktan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Oktan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and El defends well. El throwing strikes from guard but Oktan blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. El drops back looking for a leg! Oktan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oktan manages to kick El off! El jumps back into Oktan's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as El accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. El in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. El wants to control from the top but Oktan keeps moving. El stands up from Oktan's guard - El perhaps looking for a knockout. Daron Oktan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oktan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kal El showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

El is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Oktan looking for a takedown. El decides to pull guard. Oktan wants to control from the top but El keeps moving. Oktan stops El from standing up. Oktan trying to control the position from guard on top but El is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. El kicks Oktan off and gets to his feet. El darts in and clinches Oktan up against the cage. El is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daron Oktan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oktan is working for takedown but El is calmly controlling the position for now. Oktan tries to score a body lock takedown but El shows good agility there to stay on his feet. El wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

El lands a body shot. El gets control of Oktan's arms and successfully pulls guard. El will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oktan, into his guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! El throws a big elbow that misses. El postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Oktan is looking for a triangle but El pushes his legs off easily.
El with a flurry of punches that miss. El is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. El postures up in Oktan's guard and throws a big left but Oktan blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. El drops back looking for a leg! Oktan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oktan manages to kick El off! El jumps back into Oktan's guard. Oktan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. El defends it easily. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Oktan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from El. El drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and El jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. El wants to control from the top but Oktan keeps moving. El has gone for a leg lock! Oktan slips out almost immediately though and dives into El's guard. Oktan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. El keeping moving, preventing Oktan from controlling successfully. Oktan drops back, looking for a kneebar! El looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. El looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from El! El looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. El is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oktan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Daron Oktan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kal El is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Oktan throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Kal El comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well El has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Kal El! Kal El opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
