Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel McGowen! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGowen drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sobchak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McGowen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sobchak preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McGowen throws a big elbow that misses. McGowen trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobchak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGowen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. McGowen passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGowen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sobchak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGowen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McGowen tries to score with some ground and pound. Sobchak controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. McGowen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

It looks like Jeff Sobchak has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sobchak takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

After the fight, Gabriel McGowen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
