Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lew Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Death Bringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Broke for Free - Calm the F#@$ Down. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bringer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jenkins.
Bringer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jenkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jenkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jenkins throws a body punch but Bringer moves out of range.

Bringer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jenkins circles away quickly and effectively.

Jenkins is looking to control Bringer's arms but Bringer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jenkins has his back to the cage.

No joy there for Bringer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jenkins is defended easily by Bringer.
Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bringer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bringer avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jenkins.
Jenkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jenkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jenkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bringer parries the strikes from Jenkins easily there. Jenkins is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bringer to escape.

Bringer is looking to take a break and control but Jenkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jenkins is looking for a sweep.

Jenkins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bringer off and has taken his back!

Jenkins seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Bringer's chin but Bringer turns very nicely into Jenkins's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Bringer.
