Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dark Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete Green acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dark Chicken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Green! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green throws out a loose jab but Chicken uses good head movement to avoid it. Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chicken as he avoids it easily. Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Chicken tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chicken manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chicken shoots and misses and Green counters with a takedown into side control. Green in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Green creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Green throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Chicken is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Green off and has taken his back! Green is in bad spot here.
Green breaks Chicken's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green postures up in Chicken's guard and throws a big left but Chicken blocks it. Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chicken preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Green throws a big right hand that misses. Chicken keeping full guard, as Green tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chicken keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chicken scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chicken has his takedown stuffed and Green counters with a shoot takedown. Chicken fights it but they end up in guard. Green with a flurry of punches that miss. Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chicken swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chicken avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Chicken working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Green. Green throwing strikes but missing. Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chicken works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Chicken is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Green misses with a wild body shot. Green swinging wilding here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Green drives through with a takedown into guard. Chicken avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Green is looking to work some ground and pound but Chicken has wrist control. Green postures up in Chicken's guard and throws a big left but Chicken blocks it. Chicken keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully. Green scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Green dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Chicken with a poor takedown and Green counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Chicken might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chicken keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Green not landing any meaningful shots this time. Chicken trying to control from the bottom.
Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chicken's head. Green throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Green tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chicken knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chicken wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chicken's waist but Chicken gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. Green tries to clinch there but Chicken circles away.
Chicken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Green decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chicken's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green thows a big elbow that misses. Green with a nice head shot there. Green postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green trying to control but Chicken is working from the bottom. Chicken tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chicken controls Green momentarily but Green frees himself. Chicken manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Pete Green has got the better of the ground game so far. Green really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Green really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Green sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Chicken frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chicken can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Green is looking to escape. Green can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Green throws a strike but Chicken avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Green forces his way into half guard. Green is looking to take a break and control but Chicken is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Green trying to mount his opponent but Chicken defends it. Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chicken's head. Green slips a nice elbow through Chicken's hands, connecting with Chicken's forehead. Chicken is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Green there. Green wants to pass to mount but Chicken is defending the position. Green sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chicken defending well though. Green has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chicken gets full guard. Chicken utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chicken is pulling down on Green's head. It's preventing any offense from Green, at least for the moment. Green working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Green thows a big elbow that misses. Green throws a strike but Chicken rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Green is looking to sweep but instead, Chicken has passed into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Green winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
