Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Romeo Hernanes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Tomko!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernanes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tomko to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tomko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tomko with a flurry of punches that miss.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tomko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tomko's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tomko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hernanes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hernanes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hernanes keeping moving, preventing Tomko from controlling successfully.
Hernanes is trying to control the position but Tomko postures up.
Hernanes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tomko is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hernanes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tomko defends well.

Tomko lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hernanes is looking for a triangle but Tomko pushes his legs off easily.
Tomko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hernanes to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tomko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hernanes pulls down on the head and he's put Tomko to sleep! This one is all over!
