Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dom Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sterling Slater has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Bradley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sterling Slater! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradley did well to prevent Slater getting side control. Slater not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bradley manages to escape and get back to his feet! Bradley shoots for a double leg takedown but Slater sprawls well. He's pushed Bradley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bradley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slater's waist but Slater gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bradley off to one side. Slater slips under a jab. Slater feints and as Bradley raises his hands in defense, Slater changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Slater is working Bradley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slater throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Slater throws a big elbow that misses. Slater makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Slater trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Slater throws an elbow that misses. Bradley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slater's guard. Nice move by Bradley! Bradley throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradley is breathing heavily. Slater keeping moving, preventing Bradley from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Slater holds on and takes a little breather. Slater throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Slater is trying to hold Bradley in close to prevent damage but Bradley has managed to pass into half guard.
Bradley tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Slater. Slater wants to improve his position but Bradley is controlling well.
Slater really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Slater wants to get back to his feet. Slater throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Slater is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Slater is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bradley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bradley tries to pass to full mount but Slater defends it. Slater trying to control here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slater cracks Bradley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slater has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bradley to stand back up!
It looks like Dom Bradley has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slater. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Slater has cracked Bradley with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Slater lands another huge swinging hook and Bradley tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bradley, before Slater can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sterling Slater! An out of breath Sterling Slater thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
