Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Kleinsasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filthy McNasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNasty decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kleinsasser tries to get to full guard but McNasty has control of the leg.
McNasty tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kleinsasser knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

McNasty goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kleinsasser turns into him and now he's in McNasty's guard.
McNasty throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kleinsasser escapes and throws McNasty's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Kleinsasser wants to lay and pray for a moment but McNasty keeps working.

Kleinsasser lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Kleinsasser takes a little break here. McNasty wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Kleinsasser's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kleinsasser fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

McNasty is trying to maintain the position but Kleinsasser is very close to passing his half guard.

McNasty tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McNasty is trying to control Kleinsasser's posture but Kleinsasser avoids it.
Kleinsasser wants to stand but McNasty is controlling his arm.
McNasty regains half guard.
Filthy McNasty has got the better of the ground game so far.
McNasty gets back to full guard.
Kleinsasser could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

McNasty looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McNasty wants to sweep here but Kleinsasser controlling him for the moment.
McNasty working for a triangle but Kleinsasser defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kleinsasser accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McNasty is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kleinsasser throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to McNasty's body to avoid the submission. McNasty has instead reached around Kleinsasser's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! McNasty arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
