Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randall White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Company Flow – 8 Steps To Perfection. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randall White!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christian Kane!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane jabs White to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A left lands for Kane.
Kane scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kane throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by White.
Kane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

White shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kane manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kane wants to improve his position but instead White has moved into half guard.
White content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

White is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Kane still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Kane has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

White tries to bench press Kane off him but Kane keeps the position.
Kane wants to stand but White has his arm trapped.
White struggling a bit here.
White is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
White tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kane might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control White haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

White dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on White's head and hops out.

Kane leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Kane counters with a nice uppercut.

White throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Kane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Christian Kane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kane misses with a body shot.
Kane missing with a left hand there. White was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
White misses with the combination.
White is looking to clinch but Kane is avoiding it.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kane paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.

Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kane has control of White's left arm, preventing White from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kane is on top in guard.
Randall White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
White tries to land a sweep but no joy.
White wants to stand up but Kane is controlling him.

White controls Kane momentarily but Kane frees himself.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Christian Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.

White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
White tries to pass to full mount but Kane defends it.
Kane tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White seems to be working for a kimura but Kane defends the submission attempt.

White postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kane is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of White, into his guard.

Kane lands a really nice looking cross but White seems unphased.
White moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.

White wants to break free but Kane has control.
Kane misses with a body punch.
White is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kane is defending well.

Kane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

White drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kane!

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

I would just about give that final round to Christian Kane.
I've got Kane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
