Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malaik Hamadani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadani kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prince Of Persia - Welcome Within. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Minotauro!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamadani leaves Minotauro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Minotauro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hamadani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hamadani looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Minotauro with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hamadani is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Minotauro defends it well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hamadani connects with a nice short shot to Minotauro's temple.
Hamadani wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minotauro keeps working.
Hamadani is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
A big strike lands for Hamadani! That's really hurt Minotauro and he's turned his back - Hamadani keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hamadani jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malaik Hamadani!
