The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs stalks Eriksson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Eriksson's face. Eriksson staggers backwards, shaken.
Jacobs misses with a series of wild punches.

Jacobs takes a swing at Eriksson's ribcage but misses.
Eriksson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jacobs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eriksson moves away.
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jacobs wants to hold on but Eriksson pushes him away.

Jacobs is desperately trying to improve his position but Eriksson has a good base and remains in mount.

Eriksson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jacobs is surviving well by controlling Eriksson's body position as best he can.

Eriksson has hold of Jacobs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jacobs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
