Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley comes to the cage accompanied by Jammin'. Evans comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fcuk You - Dinooosaur kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marley misses with an uppercut
and Evans counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Marley throws a lazy body kick
and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Marley tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Evans counters with a head kick that drops Marley to the mat! Marley scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Marley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Evans does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bob Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marley, right into the meat.
Marley throws a nice looking combination but Evans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Marley misses with an uppercut. Evans saw that one coming.
Evans ducks under a wild hook from Marley.

Marley fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Evans.
Marley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Evans sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Evans moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Marley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Evans.
Marley tries to score with a low kick but Evans moves his leg out of the way.
Marley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Marley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Marley slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Evans counters with a nice low kick that buckles Marley's knee momentarily.

Evans wants to break the clinch but can't.

Evans dodges an elbow strike from Marley.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Evans tries to pull guard but Marley forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Evans's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Marley throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Marley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Marley lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Marley here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Marley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Evanss head.
Marley lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Evans ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Evans no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Evans is looking for a triangle but Marley pushes his legs off easily.

Marley wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving.

Evans isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Marley stacks Evans on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Marley!
Quinton Evans has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Evans tries to bench press Marley off him but Marley keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marley wants to control but Evans is keeping him busy.
