Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cane Hanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Victorino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cane Hanger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Victorino! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanger throws a sloppy head kick and Victorino moves out of range easily. Victorino changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hanger tries to avoid it but Victorino manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hanger to the ground. Hanger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Victorino moves into range and clinches up with Hanger. Hanger wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Victorino has him pressed against the cage. Hanger is looking to control Victorino's arms but Victorino gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hanger has his back to the cage. Hanger is trying to break the clinch but Victorino is controlling him. Victorino breaks the clinch.
Victorino fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hanger tries to clinch there but Victorino circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hanger lands a nice uppercut. Hanger has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Victorino is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hanger is trying to break the clinch but Victorino is controlling him. Victorino landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hanger decides to pull guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Victorino postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Victorino trying to control but Hanger is working from the bottom. Victorino sitting in guard here, content to control. Victorino gets to his feet - Hanger follows without any prompting. Hanger throws a leg kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanger dives in and grabs Victorino's left leg, looking for a takedown. Victorino pushes down on Hanger's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanger clinches up against the cage. Victorino is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hanger is trying to break the clinch but Victorino is controlling him. Hanger lands a left hand that snaps the head of Victorino backwards. Victorino breaks the clinch.
Hanger fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Victorino avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cane Hanger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Victorino tries to clinch up but Hanger circles away and keeps his distance. Hanger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Victorino. Victorino throws a sloppy head kick and Hanger moves out of range easily. Victorino shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hanger defends it nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hanger. Hanger is breathing heavily. Victorino tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hanger in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Victorino managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hanger.
This has been an exciting period of action! Victorino is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hanger lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hanger uses his free foot to push down on Victorino's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Victorino.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Victorino is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

A close round but Shane Victorino will probably get the nod. That's time! Hanger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A head kick by Hanger misses and Victorino counters with a big head kick but Hanger shrugs it off. Victorino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Victorino has a takedown stuffed. Hanger misses with a wild combination.
Hanger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Victorino sprawls well initially but Hanger persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Victorino is trying to stand.

Victorino is looking to control Hanger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Victorino avoid being mounted? Hanger throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Victorino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hanger distracts Victorino with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hanger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Victorino controls Hanger momentarily but Hanger frees himself. Hanger lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hanger tries to stand but Victorino is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanger won't allow Victorino to get back to his feet. Hanger throws a big right hand that misses. Hanger stands and throws Victorino's legs to the side, diving into side control. Victorino throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Hanger scores with punches from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hanger is working Victorino over with some ground and pound from side control. Hanger wants to stand but Victorino is controlling his arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hanger in the domination position with Victorino hanging on. Hanger trying to control the action but Victorino is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cane Hanger dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A slapping body kick lands there for Victorino. Hanger tries to close the distance and clinch but Victorino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hanger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Victorino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hanger somewhat. Hanger shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hanger throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Victorino tries to kick Hanger off but Hanger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Victorino looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hanger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Victorino is fending him off so far but Hanger persists. Nope, Victorino circles away and we're back to standing. Victorino shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hanger has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Victorino. Victorino shoots in and drives through. Hanger sprawls well. Cane Hanger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Victorino. Hanger throws a sloppy head kick and Victorino counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cane Hanger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Victorino.
