Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dodger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Dodger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ash Williams!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodger fails to land the takedown.
Dodger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Dodger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dodger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Williams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Williams looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dodger is avoiding damage well.
Williams tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dodger is looking for a sweep.

Williams wants to stand but Dodger has his arm trapped.

Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dodger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The ground and pound from Williams seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dodger keeps working.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Williams in particular looking to stall.

Williams is working for a submission of some sort.
Williams is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Dodger has wrist control.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Dodger is retaining full guard.

Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there.
Dodger wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.

Williams is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dodger has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dodger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dodger.
Williams postures up.

Williams makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Dodger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Williams controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ash Williams.
Dodger tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams scores with a nice strike.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dodger manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Williams tries to hold on but Dodger postures up.
Williams avoids a series of strikes thrown by Dodger.
Ash Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dodger fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dodger throws some wild stikes that Williams manages to avoid easily.
Williams tries to hold on but Dodger postures up.

Williams is looking to improve his position but Dodger isn't that keen on the idea.
Williams is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Dodger throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Williams because Dodger loaded up on that one.
Williams can't escape the position.
Dodger looking to finish with strikes here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams wants to hold on but Dodger pushes him away.
Williams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dodger haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ash Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Williams feints and as Dodger raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Williams works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Williams happy to just control the position for now.

A lull in the action here as Williams stalls from top position.
Dodger manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Ash Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
