The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drift goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Drift pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drift tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nakamura swivels and escapes.
A big right from Drift misses.
Nakamura sizes up Drift with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Drift misses with a series of wild punches.
Nakamura throws a right hand that Drift ducks under and follows up with a left that Drift also avoids with ease.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nakamura throws a strike but Drift rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Drift lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nakamura backs up against the cage.
Drift fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Drift misses the target.
Nakamura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Drift drops his hands momentarily and Nakamura takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Drift is rocked!
Yusuke Nakamura is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oh Drift is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nakamura missing with a left hand there. Drift was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Nakamura moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Drift! Nakamura continues to tee off on Drift, landing with a left and a right! Nakamura connects with a right hand that leaves Drift sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Nakamura!
