With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideaki Murakami!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murakami closes the distance and clinches.
Delphine wants to take the fight to the mat but Murakami manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Delphine has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Murakami uses from the top position.
Murakami won't allow Delphine to sweep him here.
Delphine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Murakami postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Delphine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Murakami wants to stand but Delphine has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Delphine is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Murakami must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Delphine is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Murakami pulls his head out easily.

Delphine has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Murakami. Oh but Delphine has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Murakami goes limp - he's gone! Delphine jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
