Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slovik Bokster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Tron Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fear kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slovik Bokster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, La Tron Carter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Bokster as Carter shoots in. Bokster could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Carter takes the fight into the clinch. Bokster is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. A nice right hand lands inside from Carter. Carter is trying to break the clinch but Bokster has him pressed against the ropes. Carter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bokster is keeping busy. Carter wants to break free but Bokster has control.
Carter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bokster backwards. Carter is looking to break free of the clinch but Bokster has double underhooks. Carter misses with a short punch on the inside. Carter gets underhooks to prevent Bokster's takedown attempt.
Bokster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bokster shoots in but no luck this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bokster prevents the takedown attempt.

Carter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bokster as he avoids it easily. Slovik Bokster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of La Tron Carter. Bokster swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bokster. Bokster decides to stand back up. Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bokster fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Carter fails with the takedown. Bokster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carter struggling a bit here. Carter is looking for a sweep. Bokster trying to control the action but Carter is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bokster is really struggling to control Carter but he's trying to hold on to the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bokster landing strikes. Carter tries to bench press Bokster off him but Bokster keeps the position. Carter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bokster landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. The fight moves into the clinch position. Carter stops a takedown attempt from Bokster.
Bokster misses with a knee strike.
Bokster goes for a takedown attempt but Carter pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Carter looks for a takedown but Bokster sprawls well. Bokster looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Carter! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bokster landing strikes from the mount and Carter is in trouble! Bokster with the ground and pound from mount. Carter is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter tries to hold on but Bokster postures up. Carter bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Carter throws a big right hand that misses. Carter wants to pass the guard but Bokster is keeping the position. Bokster working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slovik Bokster dominated that round. That's time! Bokster's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Carter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bokster tries to clinch but Carter moves away and Carter counters with a one-two to the body. Bokster tries to clinch but Carter is having none of it. Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bokster doesn't manage to clinch there - Carter circles away.
Carter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bokster but Bokster pushes him off and we're back to square one. Carter throws a one two combo.
A punch lands to the side of Bokster 's head but he takes it in his stride. Carter swats away the attempt to clinch by Bokster. Bokster tries to clinch up but Carter circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter shoots in but no luck this time. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bokster closes the distance but Carter moves to the side and Carter counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bokster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter shoots for a takedown but Bokster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slovik Bokster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of La Tron Carter. Bokster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horrible takedown by Carter or perhaps it was just good defense by Bokster which made him look bad. Bokster looks to clinch and Carter moves into the clinch. Bokster goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carter prevents it.
Carter lands a shoulder strike. Bokster is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks. Carter is trying to maintain a safe position but Bokster gets an underhook and turns Carter into the ropes. Carter tries to pull guard but Bokster won't allow it.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Bokster throws an elbow but misses. Carter is looking to break free of the clinch but Bokster has double underhooks. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bokster ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bokster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Carter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bokster is keeping the position for now. Carter postures up in Bokster's guard and throws a big left but Bokster blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bokster pushes Carter off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bokster gets a takedown into half guard. Bokster is looking to advance position but Carter won't allow it. Bokster is trying to control the action in half guard but Carter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bokster escapes and gets back to his feet. Carter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Carter throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to control the pace but Bokster is squirming around nicely. Carter thowing shots but they're missing. Bokster tries to reverse the position but Carter maintains control. Carter with a couple of short strikes. Carter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bokster tries to reverse the position but Carter maintains control. Bokster bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Carter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bokster puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Carter tries to roll over but Bokster keeps him under control. Bokster is trying to control the action in half guard but Carter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bokster prevents Carter from breaking the clinch. Bokster jumps guard but Carter stands there with Bokster around his waist. Bokster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Carter misses with a low kick as Bokster jumps back. The fight stays on the outside here - Bokster looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bokster clinches but Carter breaks the clinch and Carter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Carter has managed to clinch.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Carter throws an elbow but misses. Bokster looking to slow down the pace here. Bokster tries to land knees in the clinch but Carter avoids the damage to the body. A right hook to the body lands for Carter.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slovik Bokster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bokster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carter is fending him off so far but Bokster persists. Nope, Carter circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Carter's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Carter duly obliges. Carter lands a right hook to the body.

Carter tries for a takedown but Bokster sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. La Tron Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bokster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bokster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carter keeps working. Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bokster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bokster in particular looking to stall. Bokster is thwarting Carter's attempts to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carter can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bokster throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Carter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Bokster, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Bokster against the ropes but Bokster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bokster closes the distance and clinches. Bokster fails to pull guard.

Bokster stuffs the takedown. Carter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bokster momentarily.
Bokster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bokster throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Nice takedown defense from Bokster. No joy for Carter on that attempt. Carter clinches up with Bokster and pushes him back against the ropes. La Tron Carter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Slovik Bokster. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bokster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
