PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Crouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant Crouch told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grant Crouch!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crouch misses with a low kick.
Crouch feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Knuckles's calf.
Crouch connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Knuckles momentarily.
Crouch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knuckles has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Knuckles there as he acknowledges the shot.

Knuckles is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crouch drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Knuckles's head, knocking him out cold! Crouch is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
