Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Terry Picket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Oro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Picket has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Picket ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Oro! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oro gets a double leg takedown into Picket 's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Oro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Oro wants to stand and escape but instead Picket has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oro trying to control the position here. Picket stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Picket drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Picket has Oro in his guard. Picket will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Picket working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Oro with a flurry of punches that miss. Oro makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Oro wants to control from the top but Picket keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Picket really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Oro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Vladimir Oro has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Oro gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oro perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oro is looking for a kimura but Picket is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Oro to get the leverage. Oro is looking for a kimura here.
Oro seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oro not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Oro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Oro is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Oro is looking to stall here but Picket recovers full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oro trying to stand up but can't free himself from Picket 's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Oro dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Picket tries to clinch but fails miserably and Oro counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Oro. Picket tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Picket . That's going to take a lot out of him. Picket tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oro just stands there and leans against the cage. Oro is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Picket pulls guard effortlessly. Picket keeping moving, preventing Oro from controlling successfully. Oro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Picket throws his legs up looking for a submission but Oro uses it to pass to side control.
Oro is working to tighten is grip on Picket 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Picket has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oro is really squeezing tight and eventually Picket passes out! Oro breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
