The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Konopacki as he avoids it easily.
Sanchez displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Sanchez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Konopacki.
Konopacki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt
and Konopacki makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Konopacki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Marcello Sanchez has been cut.

A nice leg kick lands there from Konopacki.

Sanchez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Konopacki just stands there and leans against the cage.
Konopacki works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Konopacki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Konopacki scores with a nice short uppercut.

Konopacki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanchez.

and Sanchez counters with a left and a right that stings Konopacki.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt
and Konopacki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sanchez is rocked!
BAM! Konopacki delivers a spinning backfist that drops Sanchez like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
