Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sabastian Porgando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sabastian Porgando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazarus Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porgando throws a right and a left that both miss.
Porgando tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Porgando but Porgando pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Porgando throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Porgando throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Porgando throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.

Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Jones looking to secure an arm triangle but Porgando defends it well.
Jones trying to control but Porgando is having none of it.

Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Porgando can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jones throws some wild stikes that Porgando manages to avoid easily.
Porgando wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Porgando is in a horrible position here. Jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jones fails to take his opponent's back.
Jones wants to control the pace but Porgando is squirming around nicely.

Jones jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Porgando manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Porgando knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Porgando keeps working.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Porgando is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Porgando catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Porgando pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Porgando works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lazarus Jones dominated that round.

Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Porgando throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.

Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Porgando tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Porgando to the ground. Porgando escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Porgando tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A head kick from Porgando lands but Jones takes it in his stride.
Porgando misses with a wild combination.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Porgando saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Porgando tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones blocks a head kick by Porgando.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Porgando tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Porgando manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sabastian Porgando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazarus Jones.

Porgando pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Porgando throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Porgando gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones passes Porgando's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Porgando on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Porgando tries to get out of the position.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Porgando defends the submission attempt.
Porgando wants to get back to his feet.

Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Porgando tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Jones thows a huge punch but Porgando dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones stops Porgando from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Porgando misses with a head kick.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Porgando.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Porgando.
The fight stays on the outside here - Porgando looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Porgando fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Porgando throws a half hearted mid kick.

Jones looks up at the clock and then as Porgando takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jones smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Porgando is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Porgando has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Porgando is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Porgando looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Porgando misses with a head kick.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Porgando's waist but Porgando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

I would just about give that final round to Lazarus Jones.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
