Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Brown! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown fails with the takedown and Robinson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brown's guard now. Robinson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Randy Robinson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown and Robinson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robinson. Robinson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Robinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Robinson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Robinson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Randy Robinson just wasn't active enough. Brown has his takedown stuffed and Robinson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Randy Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Brown. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robinson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Robinson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brown for as long as he can get away with. Robinson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Brown is fighting it off but Robinson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage. Robinson sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robinson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Robinson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Robinson swings wildly with an uppercut but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it. The referee is keeping an eye on Robinson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Brown is trying to pull guard but Robinson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Robinson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brown regains guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Robinson stays in close to Brown's body and controls the position. Randy Robinson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Robinson throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson throws an elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robinson's guard. Nice move by Brown! Robinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Robinson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Brown blocking the ground and pound attempt from Robinson. Robinson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown is trying to stand up here but Robinson is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown is breathing heavily. Robinson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Robinson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Robinson thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Robinson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Robinson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Robinson is looking to advance position but Brown won't allow it. Robinson moves nicely into side control. Robinson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Robinson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?

Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Robinson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Robinson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Robinson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Robinson controlling from side mount. Robinson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Brown is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

You can see the frustration on Brown's face as Robinson controls the position. Robinson is working Brown over with some ground and pound from side control. Brown takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The strikes coming from Robinson are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Brown on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Robinson controls the position from side control. Check out the look on Robinson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Randy Robinson clearly takes that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Robinson misses with a left hand and Brown makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Robinson really felt that one!
Brown is rocked! Robinson clinches with his opponent.
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Robinson finish him? Robinson has Brown pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Robinson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brown tumbling to the mat - Robinson dives into Brown's guard. Robinson gets to his feet and stands over Brown, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Brown felt that one! Robinson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Brown from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Robinson! A very excited looking Randy Robinson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
