The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yelgersmold counters with a nice right hand that sends Jitus toppling to the canvas! Jitus scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Yelgersmold finish him?!
It looks like Vinny Jitus has been cut.
Vinny Jitus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jitus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Yelgersmold drops Jitus with a huge uppercut! Jitus drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Yelgersmold is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
