Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kees Flodder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Kees Flodder has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kees Flodder seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kees Flodder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Little! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flodder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Flodder.
Kees Flodder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flodder lands with a nice body punch. Flodder throws a nice looking combination but Little bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Little connects with a high kick. Little staying out of range there. Flodder misses with a combination
and Little counters with a shoot takedown. Flodder fights it but they end up in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Little trying to control the position from guard on top but Flodder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Little seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Little looking to sit in guard and control but Flodder gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Craig Little wasn't active enough on the ground. Flodder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Little moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Little uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Flodder. No joy there for Flodder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Little.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flodder clobbers Little with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Little throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Little avoids a punch combination nicely.
Little feints and as Flodder raises his hands in defense, Little changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Little looking to pass the guard. Flodder can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Little controls the pace. Little trying to control the position from guard on top but Flodder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Little trying to move into half guard but instead Flodder has managed to sweep! Little is trying to control the position from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Craig Little hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Flodder circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flodder tries to keep at a distance but Little has taken the fight into the clinch. Little is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Flodder wants to get back to striking at distance but Little won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Little fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Little jumps guard.
Little controls Flodder momentarily but Flodder frees himself. Flodder has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Flodder stopping the sweep attempt from Little. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Flodder wants to pass the guard but Little is keeping the position.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Craig Little has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Little tries to clinch up. Flodder throws a jab but it's blocked by Little. Little shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flodder as he jumps to the side. Kees Flodder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Little. Little misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Flodder lands a head shot.
Little is rocked! Flodder slaps away a takedown attempt from Little, before circling back to the center of the mat. A big left from Flodder misses. No joy there for Flodder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Flodder throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Little is still on wobbly legs! Can Flodder finish him? Flodder throws a right and a left that Little avoids nicely.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Little digs a good body shot into Flodder's ribs. Flodder cracks Little with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Little looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Flodder finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flodder falls off balance throwing a combination
and Little counters with a takedown into side control. Little trying to control the position but Flodder is working away. Little looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Little trying to control the position but Flodder is working away. You can see the frustration on Flodder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Little seems to have recovered his senses.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Flodder is not content to let Little control the position. Little is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Craig Little hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Little tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Flodder swivels and escapes. Flodder misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kees Flodder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Flodder missing with a left hand there. Little was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. An inside leg kick lands from Little. Flodder tests Little's chin there with a solid looking shot. Little throws a body punch but Flodder moves out of range. Little swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A combination from Little does no damage. Little changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flodder tries to avoid it but Little manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flodder to the ground. Flodder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Little misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Little looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A combination from Flodder does no damage. Little misses with a kick to the body.
Little fails with the takedown. Flodder ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A left lands for Flodder. Flodder swinging wildly here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sloppy strikes from Flodder. Those never looked like landing. Flodder drops Little with a beautiful combination! Little stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Flodder is looking for the KO! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Little slips a jab and a cross from Flodder.
Flodder lands a brutal uppercut that launches Little off his feet! Little tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kees Flodder! Jumping up and down and very excited, Kees Flodder waved his t-shirt featuring CEC Nutrition Q160 & Loans's logo in front of the cameras.
