The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Starstryder - just one landing.
Starstryder lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Starstryder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Starstryder tries a head kick but it misses.
Redyan looks to score with a jab to the body but Starstryder is just out of range.
Starstryder throws the left hand but Redyan avoids the punch easily.
Starstryder tries to clinch there but Redyan circles away.
Redyan drives through with a takedown into Starstryder's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Redyan passes Starstryder's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Starstryder is defending against the submission attempts here by Redyan.
Starstryder wants to get back to his feet.

Redyan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redyan tries to pass to full mount but Starstryder defends it.
Redyan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Starstryder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Redyan on the ground.
Redyan is working for a submission of some sort.
Redyan stops Starstryder from getting back to his feet.

Redyan is working for a kimura but Starstryder is defending it quite comfortably.
Redyan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Starstryder!
Starstryder is in all sorts of trouble here.
