Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maykel Awang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swanson comes to the ring accompanied by all nightmare long by metallica. Awang Bang has chosen 2pac Changes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awang Bang misses with a wild body shot.
Awang Bang has his takedown stuffed
and Awang Bang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Swanson scores with a takedown into Awang Bang's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Awang Bang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Swanson defends it easily.
Swanson distracts Awang Bang with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Awang Bang can't keep his opponent in guard - Swanson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Awang Bang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Swanson is looking to advance position but Awang Bang won't allow it.
Swanson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Awang Bang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Swanson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are battling for position here. Awang Bang manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Swanson is working Awang Bang over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Awang Bang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swanson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swanson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swanson slips a nice elbow through Awang Bang's hands, connecting with Awang Bang's forehead.
Swanson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Awang Bang is looking for a sweep. Swanson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Swanson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Swanson wants to free his trapped foot but Awang Bang is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Awang Bang is not content to let Swanson control the position.
Awang Bang has hold of Swanson's hands but Swanson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Awang Bang is refusing to be controlled, as Swanson sits in half guard.
Awang Bang is trying to maintain the position but Swanson is very close to passing his half guard.

Swanson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Swanson connects with a nice short shot to Awang Bang's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Awang Bang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Awang Bang is looking for a triangle but Swanson pushes his legs off easily.
Swanson postures up and lands a big shot to Awang Bang's brow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Swanson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Swanson connects with a couple of short punches.
Swanson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Swanson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Swanson throws an off balance right hand
and Awang Bang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Swanson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Awang Bang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Swanson is in Awang Bang's guard.
Swanson trying to control the position from guard on top but Awang Bang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Awang Bang looking for a guillotine here but Swanson defends easily.
Awang Bang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Swanson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Swanson lands a couple of digs.
Awang Bang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Swanson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Awang Bang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Awang Bang prevents Swanson from improving his position.
Swanson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Awang Bang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Awang Bang's back!
Swanson has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Awang Bang.
Swanson lands with a hammerfist to the side of Awang Bang's head.
Awang Bang is rocked!
Swanson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Awang Bang is still in real trouble! Can Swanson finish him?
Swanson is loading up with his shots from the back and Awang Bang is in big trouble! Awang Bang taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
