The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svevo misses with a takedown

and Ongka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Svevo's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ongka pushes down on Svevo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ongka wants to pass to mount but Svevo is defending the position.

Ongka seems to be looking for submissions.
