Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Leka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kalle Leka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul White!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
White defending well as Leka loads up on a big left hand.
White throws a series of punches but Leka moves out of range.
Leka avoids a punch combination nicely.
White moves out of range of the strikes.

White moves into the clinch.
White prevents a body shot from Leka.
White prevents a body shot from Leka.
Leka lands a shoulder strike.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leka avoids it really well and circles away.
White lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leka.

Leka throws a shot from downtown. White moves away and avoids it.
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Leka tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kalle Leka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul White.
White lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The crowd cheers as Leka lands an impressive looking overhand right. White doesn't seem phased though.
White moves forwards but Leka connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Paul White has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Leka. White does a little dance to reset his feet.
White darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

White shoots in for a takedown but Leka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leka.
White doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Leka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

White shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Leka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of White's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take White's back!

Leka throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leka lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
White slips under a jab.
White connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Leka misses with a looping left.
Leka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from White.
Leka jabbing away but nothing is landing.
White throws a head kick but Leka moves out of range.
Leka leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Leka is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Leka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A nice leg kick lands there from White.

White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

White tries to break free but Leka pushes him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White drops down looking for an ankle pick but Leka pulls his leg out and moves away.
White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leka is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Leka circles away and we're back to standing.

White blocks a jab.
Leka stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet.
Leka thows a body shot but no joy.
White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leka.
Leka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Leka lands with a straight right. White didn't see that one coming.
Leka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.
White misses with a double jab.
White lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Leka sizes up White with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leka but Leka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
White walks into a left hand.
Leka connects with a single shot there.
White on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Leka connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between White's hands.
White fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Paul White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Leka drops White with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but White looks back up at him and smiles so Leka waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


White is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big left from Leka misses.
White is still on wobbly legs! Can Leka finish him?
White throws a hook to the side of Leka's head but Leka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Leka fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
White seems to have recovered his senses.
Leka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent White stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Leka drops White with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but White looks back up at him and smiles so Leka waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Leka misses with a body shot.
Leka ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with White's jaw. White's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Leka does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kalle Leka!
