Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Germano Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kukanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Kukanov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Kukanov!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukanov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Savage.
Savage with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Savage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kukanov at a distance.
Savage tries to bum rush Kukanov with a series of wild strikes but Kukanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Savage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage lands a brutal head kick. Kukanov looks out on his feet and Savage throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Germano Savage!
