Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Roscrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony's entrance music is Holidae Inn. A fine choice. Roscrow is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In The Middle Of It Now. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Anthony uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roscrow.
Roscrow pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Anthony counters with a crisp right hand that drops Roscrow! Anthony lets Roscrow back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Perry Roscrow has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like William Anthony has been cut.
Anthony walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Roscrow throws a right and a left that Anthony avoids nicely.

Anthony shoots in but no luck this time.
Roscrow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Anthony under the eye.
Anthony throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roscrow's waist but Roscrow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anthony off to one side.

Anthony shoots in but Roscrow avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Roscrow throws a right and a left that Anthony avoids nicely.
Roscrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anthony moves away.

Roscrow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Roscrow throws a push kick but Anthony slaps the foot to one side.

That has opened up Perry Roscrow's cut even more.

Anthony thows a huge punch but Roscrow dodges it nicely.

Roscrow wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anthony thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Roscrow's head.
Anthony working over Roscrow with some ground and pound. Roscrow looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Anthony not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Anthony thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Anthony looks to land a strike but Roscrow avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roscrow wants to stand up but Anthony is controlling him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anthony is looking to work some ground and pound but Roscrow has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William Anthony dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Anthony changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roscrow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Anthony is trying to get an arm triangle but Roscrow is defending well.
Roscrow is breathing heavily.

Anthony working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
William Anthony overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Anthony misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Roscrow regains half guard, as Anthony was trying to land strikes.
Roscrow wants to get back to full guard.
Anthony looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roscrow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anthony connects with a nice short shot to Roscrow's temple.

The cut above Perry Roscrow's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Perry Roscrow's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
