Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Pirozhkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gim Ruut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruut comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Pirozhkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gim Ruut! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruut closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ruut. Ruut content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Pirozhkov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ruut smiles and moves away.
Ruut tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pirozhkov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ruut keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pirozhkov slips a straight right by Ruut. Ruut throws a right and a left that Pirozhkov avoids nicely. Ruut tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pirozhkov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ruut wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruut connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Ruut looks to throw the jab but Pirozhkov is out of range. Ruut misses the jab. Ruut misses with a hook. Ruut throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Donk. Ruut catches Pirozhkov right on the button with a cross. Ruut closes the distance and pushes Pirozhkov back into the cage. Pirozhkov letting Ruut take a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pirozhkov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ruut walks away with a smile on his face. Pirozhkov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Pirozhkov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruut misses with an uppercut. Pirozhkov saw that one coming. Ruut bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pirozhkov's head. Ruut misses with a wild body shot. Ruut missing with a left hand there. Pirozhkov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pirozhkov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ruut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ruut takes a swing at Pirozhkov's ribcage but misses. Ruut rushes Pirozhkov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ruut working some nice short punches in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruut misses with a short punch on the inside. Pirozhkov jumps guard but Ruut stands there with Pirozhkov around his waist. Pirozhkov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Still in the clinch, Ruut scores with a nice short uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gim Ruut dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ruut ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pirozhkov moves away. Ruut closes the distance looking to clinch and Pirozhkov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ruut's guard now. Ruut tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ruut keeping moving, preventing Pirozhkov from controlling successfully. Ruut manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pirozhkov manages to get himself to full guard.

Ruut keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pirozhkov's head. Ruut looking to pass the guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruut pushing down on Pirozhkov's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ruut is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pirozhkov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gim Ruut! A relieved looking Gim Ruut thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
