Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mathek Krol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Emenies by Shinedown as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mathek Krol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Jackson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson gets a clinch. Krol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Krol drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mathek Krol. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson tightens his grip and picks Krol up, before dumping him to the ground. Krol manages to land in guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Krol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Krol has a closed guard, preventing Jackson from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krol looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Krol's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Krol might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well. Jackson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Krol's closed guard. He's half up but Krol has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Krol pivots and extends the arm, Jackson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Krol! Well done that man!
