Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Stiglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Forsyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiglitz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ecstasy of Gold. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stiglitz enables Forsyth to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stiglitz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Forsyth trying to control the position from guard on top but Stiglitz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stiglitz throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Forsyth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stiglitz's head.
Stiglitz trying to keep a closed guard but Forsyth is proving a slippery customer.
Forsyth controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Stiglitz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Forsyth trying to control the position from guard on top but Stiglitz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Forsyth looking to sit in guard and control but Stiglitz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Forsyth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Forsyth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Stiglitz is pushing down on Forsyth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Forsyth is fighting to maintain full guard but Stiglitz has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Forsyth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stiglitz is pressing down on Forsyth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Forsyth is holding on for now.
Forsyth is trying to get back to full guard.
Forsyth moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Forsyth can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are battling for position here. Forsyth manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stiglitz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Forsyth wants to sweep here but Stiglitz controlling him for the moment.

Forsyth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stiglitz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Forsyth is trying desperately to improve position.
Stiglitz tries to control but Forsyth wriggling away.
Forsyth sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Stiglitz passes the guard and advances to mount!
Forsyth tries to reverse the position but Stiglitz maintains control.
