Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis leaves McDonald with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Davis shoots in looking for a takedown. McDonald tries to sprawl out of it but Davis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDonald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Davis tries to clinch up.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but McDonald swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McDonald .

McDonald shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed McDonald 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McDonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but McDonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McDonald had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Davis defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Omeka Davis will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omeka Davis.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Davis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
