Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between John Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Dodson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Reynolds ! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dodson circles away from the clinch attempt and Dodson counters with a nice leg kick. Dodson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reynolds .
A low kick from Reynolds misses and Dodson counters with a straight right hand. Dodson avoids the head kick by Reynolds .
Reynolds tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dodson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dodson. Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dodson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reynolds 's head. Dodson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Reynolds tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dodson avoids it. Reynolds is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Reynolds has had enough of the clinch but Dodson keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson breaks the clinch.
Dodson circles away from the clinch attempt and Dodson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dodson forces Reynolds back against the cage and clinches. Dodson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch but Dodson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Reynolds on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dodson. Dodson obviously looking to wear him down.
Dodson moves out of range of the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Reynolds wants to break free but Dodson has control.
Dodson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Reynolds tries to clinch and Dodson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A thudding body kick lands there by Reynolds !
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reynolds looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Reynolds lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dodson gets a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Dodson.
Dodson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dodson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dodson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dodson obliges.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dodson clinches up against the cage. Dodson manages to break the clinch.
Dodson scores with a spinning back kick! Reynolds looks to clinch and Dodson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dodson. Reynolds has had enough of the clinch but Dodson keeps him there for the moment. Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dodson has managed to clinch.
Dodson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dodson presses Reynolds against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Dodson digs a right hand underneath Reynolds 's ribcage. Reynolds let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Reynolds tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Reynolds working hard to break the clinch. Dodson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Reynolds wants to break free but Dodson has control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dodson breaks the clinch.
Dodson instigates a clinch. Dodson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dodson slips a jab and a cross from Reynolds .
Reynolds looks winded! Dodson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dodson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Dodson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dodson clinches up against the cage. Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reynolds moves to clinch but Dodson breaks away and Dodson counters by moving into the clinch. Reynolds looking to slow down the pace here. Dodson holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Dodson lands a body punch. Reynolds wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Reynolds wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dodson has him pressed against the cage. Reynolds has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Reynolds looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Dodson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Reynolds scores with a jab. Dodson throws a head kick that Reynolds semi-blocks.
It looks like Jacob Reynolds has been cut. Reynolds moves into the clinch successfully.
Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dodson swats him away and circles back towards the center. A head kick from Reynolds lands but Dodson takes it in his stride. John Dodson is winning the standup battle so far. Reynolds tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dodson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dodson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Reynolds is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reynolds drops his hands momentarily and Dodson needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Reynolds just on the top of the head. Reynolds drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Reynolds - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Dodson! John Dodson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
