Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Adeeos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, BJ Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adeeos shoots for a takedown but Aoki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aoki throws a big shot that misses.
Adeeos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aoki circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aoki.
Aoki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Adeeos.
Aoki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left and a right from Aoki both land. Nice combination.

Adeeos is rocked!

It looks like Klaus Adeeos has been cut.
Aoki misses the shot to the body.
Oh Adeeos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aoki drops Adeeos with a beautiful combination! Adeeos stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Aoki is looking for the KO!
Aoki throws a hook but Adeeos avoids it easily.
BJ Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Aoki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Adeeos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adeeos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aoki circles away.

Adeeos slips a jab and a cross from Aoki.
Adeeos seems to have got his legs back now.

Adeeos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aoki's guard.
Aoki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adeeos manages to get himself to full guard.
Aoki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adeeos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Adeeos pulls Aoki in close to prevent any damage.
Aoki wants to stand but Adeeos has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Aoki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Adeeos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aoki, into his guard.

Aoki wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Adeeos manages to pass to side control.
Still in half guard, Adeeos seems content to control.
Aoki tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Adeeos has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Aoki tries to hold on but Adeeos postures up.

Aoki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Aoki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Aoki looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Aoki can't escape the position.
Adeeos controlling the position well here. Aoki rolled but Adeeos kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Adeeos shoots in and bounces Aoki off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aoki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Adeeos has picked Aoki up and slammed him! Aoki can't keep hold of the triangle and Adeeos manages to pass to side control!

Aoki tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Aoki is looking to improve his position but Adeeos isn't that keen on the idea.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
I really don't envy Aoki right now.
Aoki wants to control his opponent's hands but Adeeos gets his hands free.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Adeeos's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Aoki manages to reverse the position and now he's in Adeeos's guard. Nice work there by Aoki.
Aoki is looking to advance position but Adeeos has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Aoki tries to escape but Adeeos has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Adeeos trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Aoki doesn't escape.
I really don't envy Aoki right now.
Aoki is trying to stand back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Aoki swings for the body but Adeeos moves out of range.
Whack! Aoki lands a heavy head kick that drops Adeeos. The ref tackles Aoki to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Adeeos was done.
